Dear CLC Administrator
We’re in the process of updating the list of community legal centres for inclusion in the 2008 edition of the Law Institute of Victoria’s annual Diary & Directory, which is used by many members of the legal profession. The list does not currently contain details of your organisation.
If you would like to be included in this listing, can you please supply the following information (as relevant) by Friday, 10 August 2007:
Name and contact details – street/postal address, phone, fax, email, website
Hours of operation (including any special advice clinics or outreach services, with location)
Catchment – whether statewide or limited to a particular municipality or area
Appointments – whether required for all or specific services
Areas of work referred to other services
Any other services provided
Please note that there is no charge for this listing, which is provided as a service to legal practitioners and court personnel who use the LIV Diary/Directory.
This information can be provided by email, or faxed to 9607 9451 (attention Alison Shield)
If you would like to discuss this listing, or need further information, please feel free to contact me on 9607 9453, or Diary Editor Alison Shield on 9607 9344.
Kind regards
Kath Harper

Hello,
I was wondering if you take on people for voluntary work purposes whom are looking for work experience. I have recently completed the Bachelor of Laws and was wanting around one day a week. If you do offer something like this I would be very interested.
Kind regards, Caleb Leitmanis.

Hello,
I live in Torquay and was wondering whether you require volunteers for the Legal service. I am not currently registered but have worked in family law, youth law at North Melbourne Legal Service and at Womens Legal Resource Centre. I am currently working part time at Child Wise, a NGO working in the prevention of child abuse so am up to date in terms of child protection.I am also a Board member for Bethany in Geelong. I would be happy to volunteer once a week and to organise registration so I can advise. Thank you, Fiona Williams
